AFHS welcomes researchers, journalists, authors, and students to consult its archival holdings on site by appointment. The archives augments and extends the museum experience with specialized resources to explore local history. Some of the materials included in the collection are regional maps, Essex County Republican newspapers, Village of Keeseville documents, photographs, compiled family histories, cemetery transcriptions, and published civil and church histories.
